Snow in Melbourne

I am watching the weather channel and it is gonna be 97 here today (cooler than the 99 yesterday). when they say, Its so hot are you wondering if there is snow anywhere?
Then they show video of snow falling in Australia...Ahhh I want some cold wet snow falling on my balding head too.

It's nice here today...82 degrees and partly sunny.....however something died up in the woods behind the house..the odor is drifting thissa way..UGH!!!...

Yeah the snow was something of a freak occurance. Some places it was the first snow they've had in 20 years.

Its been bloody cold here and Im so happy that the heater/air con is turned on 15 mins before I get into work so the place is warm by the time I turn off the alarm system.

I tried to have an afternoon nap yesterday and it took me over and hour to get warm before I could fall asleep. I slept in the one position for 2 hours because it was just too cold to move.

I just posted at a site and the young lady is in Qld (I guess thats Queensland?) and they were talking about getting in the truck and driving down to see the snow. I didn't realize it was that uncommon. but my idea of Austraila is from Crocadile Dundee and steve Corwin... forgive me

You mostly see the Northern Territory portrait as "Australia". We're mostly desert with most of the polulation on the east coast where is more lush..supposedly if we can shake this drought.

Our snowfields arent much but they serve us well and are in easy reach for all the yuppies to drive their expensive imported cars to..lol
